The most memorable part of my career, were the people I was fortunate enough to meet. The builders, clients and other trades people were, for the most part, a pleasure to work with. During my 15 years in the AV business, there wasn't one lawsuit, one breach of contract, or a single major issue on any project I was involved with that wasn't able to be resolved. In that regard I was very fortunate.

However, I think it really points to the fact that most people are good people. There is a belief that a lot of the people who are wealthy or powerful are somehow greedy or corrupt, and I can say with certainty that this is usually not true. Sure, there are some, but based on my experience, probably not many. Regardless, I learned a lot about people in my career. And, it made me more optimistic about the future, not less.
