A few years ago while spending the winter in Montana, I contacted local AV companies to stay connected with the industry. One had a client upgrading all electronics in their home, including replacing a Crestron lighting system with Lutron Homeworks, and they asked if I could help.

The 9,000 square foot home is spread across three levels, and included an extensive lighting system with a fairly large number of keypads. The project required identifying, testing, and programming the new Lutron system. I worked with their staff to complete the installation. This was my first lighting project in nearly 14 years, and while the software and components have evolved, the fundamentals remain the same.
