During our first stay in Thailand, we lived for about 6 months outside of Chiang Rai. An American who had lived in Thailand for 13 years, built a small Thai style house on the edge of the Singha farm. Living outside of a smaller city in a rural agricultural area was quite a change after a year in and around Chiang Mai.
