The outdoor stage area for community events, is surrounded by buildings intended to be used for community housing. While the tour guide indicated that only a small number of people were currently living onsite, the facilities, given enough funding, could support many more, with the original plan being to ultimately support several thousand. Unfortunately the drought in Arizona contributed to some of the issues the community was experiencing.
