My father taking a photo while having his photo taken, sometime in the 1970's. He worked in the printing industry, and at the end of his career both supervised and assisted in all aspects of pre-press processing. After his stroke, there was more time to devote to photography, and for a time he operated a graphic arts business out of his home office.

It is because of what I learned from him, visting him at work and getting tours of the process of creating books and magazines, along with countless hours of instruction on how to use various software tools, that I was able to take on a project like Strong Medicine Publishing.
