On Morphic Resonance
Quora Question: Has Rupert Sheldrake ever talked about cases of children remembering past lives? Could morphic resonance being playing a part?
There are multiple sources of information that you can piece together to get an idea of how the principles of reincarnation might work.
Tom Campbell is a physicist, and talks about his explorations of consciousness over the last 40 years. He has a big-picture view of how the non-physical component of our reality works.
Bruce Lipton is a cellular biologist, and talks about consciousness affecting biology at the cellular level. His work and the work of Rupert, to me, mesh quite well, and help illustrate how the physical and non-physical interact.
Rupert Sheldrake discusses morphic resonance, which is an important piece of the conceptual puzzle. However, I doubt he makes a habit of also taking on reincarnation, unless asked by someone. He is ridiculed enough as it is, and that is not his field.
Walter Semkiw has assembled a number of proposed reincarnation cases. He builds on the work of Ian Stevenson, and has a pretty comprehensive explanation of how the process might work.
If you really want to understand reincarnation, look into the work listed above. There is a lot of information available, you just have to look for yourself.
