Arcosanti caught my attention as Sara and I were driving along I-17 between Sedona and Phoenix, as even from a distance it appears to be unconventional architecture. After a little research, we booked a tour and spent a few hours exploring.

There is a lot of information available online, so there is no need to repeat here. However, I will say that if you are ever in Arizona, and if you have any interest in architecture, two things worth making time to explore are Soleri's experiments (Arcosanti and Cosanti), and Taliesin West.
