While this isn't the specific vehicle I worked on, this Sprinter conversion image illustrates both the complexity of modern vehicle lighting systems, with numerous independently dimmable zones, and an ideal application for OLED technology. The heat generated by LED strip lights and the bulk required for housings and diffusers to create uniform illumination are non-issues with OLED panels. Most importantly, OLED lighting produces a flicker-free, soft and uniform glow rather than the typical harsh glare of point-source LEDs, which is clearly evident in the photo.
